Raised in the church as a child with several Methodist ministers in her family, she was baptized at 9 years old by her grandfather, Rev. O. Wilbur Fix.
She was devoted to God in those younger years, but swayed from the church as an adult. Only recently, in 2012, did she feel God calling her back. She re-dedicated her life and was baptized as an adult in 2014.
Feeling led to learn more about God and His vision for her renewed life in the Lord, she joined a discipleship program which has changed her outlook and her walk with God.
Her gifts as a teacher and spiritual coach, have her now leading the “Operation Solid Lives” discipleship program in the church.
